Rosemary Duxbury’s music choreographed by Lorna Brown
In America, former world professional ice-skating champion Lorna Brown (right) has been choreographing Rosemary Duxbury's piano music for skating. Former British Senior International figure skating competitor and World Professional Champion, LORNA BROWN, was a Principal skater with John Curry's Theatre of Skating and Ice Dancing and in many other shows around the world. She studied classical and contemporary dance and worked with some of the world’s greatest choreographers before going into coaching and choreography for which she is internationally renowned. She was Denmark’s National Coach and has taken skaters to many international championships including Worlds and Olympics . The experiences she gained working with John Curry left an everlasting impression on her views of ice skating – particularly the importance of choreography, expression and style. Lorna is based in California, and has been working with Rosemary's short piano pieces: 'In the Presence’ and 'In the Master's Love'.
