“It was marvelous hearing your music - it washed our cells clean”
Gabriel Bradford Millar, writer and poet

More and more, the music of Rosemary Duxbury is being used in spiritual, therapeutic and healing situations, and for contemplation and meditation.

MUSIC FOR SPIRITUAL JOURNEYS......

Rosemary writes,“As a composer my initial source of inspiration is from within, a place where I feel the life-force, which can be experienced as streams of light and sound, can be accessed. If the music inspires or uplifts the listener, and can enable them to discover that place or source within themselves, then I am delighted and feel the music has been successful. One of the loveliest things that I hear quite regularly from people who have heard my music is that they went on a journey through the music. People experience being 'transported' out of the concert hall, often getting visual experiences. I am interested in dreams, in soul and its nature, and it may be that the music helps people to access that different state where they are able to experience freedom and gain insights away from physical constraints.

Here are some responses.......

YOGA Magazine October 2008 recommends ‘On
Wings of Light CD: “Rosemary Duxbury is an extremely talented composer whose debut CD contains eight wonderful compositions..... the talented musicians performing her work are Patricia Siffert on piano, Rosemary Curtis on oboe, Tony Hinnigan on cello and Catherine Musker on viola.

An outstanding example of classical music at its finest.”

Chrisy Edge, Yoga Teacher and Massage Therapist in the North East of England uses Rosemary’s music in her work. Chrisy says:

In my work as a Yoga Teacher and Massage Therapist, I find Rosemary Duxbury's warm and heart opening music ideal for inspiring visualization. It can be played throughout the Yoga class or more specifically for the relaxation at the end of class.

Likewise I play Rosemary's beautiful music during my Massage treatments. I particularly like track 1. In the Presence and track 8. In the Master's Love both from her 'On Wings of Light' CD.

I also find her CD 'Streams' very inspiring.......you can feel your Spirit lifting, my favorite is track 1. Light Falling

"Contemplate, allow your mind and emotions to engage with the music, let your creative imagination be inspired

......daydream......adventure within....wander....and with every velvet twist and turn..... surrender.... soar......  be lifted."

Your music makes someone indeed feel deeply. It is somehow like the view at the stars in a clear silent night, like the moon which is rising slowly up into the sky - simply wonderful.
